Finishing Touch
Finishing Touch Cloth Mitter The Hanna Finishing Touch Mitter (HFTM) features two stainless steel mitter baskets that hold 80 cloth curtain strips. The baskets move diagonally opposite creating a figure eight curtain motion. This unique motion cleans the top horizontal surfaces of any vehicle and also does an excellent job of cleaning hard to reach vertical surfaces. The unit is available with frames constructed of stainless steel or aluminum.
The cloth mitter baskets and drive rods are all made of stainless steel to provide the extra strength and rigidity required to minimize torsion stress and increase the longevity of the component. The HFTM is available with either direct drive hydraulics or electric motors. The electric drive system utilizes a gear box to control rotation speed.
- HSS-2 Mitter
Hanna’s HSS-2 Cloth Mitter was designed to clean the top horizontal surfaces of any vehicle. The front to back cleaning motion gently cleans the vehicle without incident to roof racks, roof lights and antennas. The four basket design each holds 80 cloth curtain strips and con- forms to any vehicle shape including the front and back of vehicles.
The HSS-2 is available with stainless steel or aluminum frames. The cloth mitter baskets and drive rods are made of stainless steel to provide the extra strength and rigidity required to minimize torsion stress and increase the longev- ity of the component.
The system operates with either electric or hydraulic drive motors. With the electric drive option a variable frequency drive is recommended to increase motor life.
- Hanna Diagonal Touch Mitter
Hanna’s Diagonal Touch Mitter is designed for short systems and small spaces, although it can easily be added to any existing system. Compared to most other small-space mitters, Hanna’s Digital Touch Mitter has more action and delivers superior cleaning results. It is constructed of stainless steel and includes one HFTM curtain rack with 40 soft cloth curtains.
- S-20 Mitter
The S-20 Mitter Curtain is designed to use side-to-side motion to effectively clean the hood, windshield and roof of the vehicle. It consists of three solid curtains that gently clean the vehicle without incident to roof racks, roof lights and antennas, while still forming to the shape of the vehicle..
The unique design allows for maximum cleaning while taking up very little tunnel space. In fact the S-20 requires only 4 ft of tunnel space. It is an excellent choice for operator with any conveyor length. It can also be easily retrofitted into existing tunnels for added cleaning ability in the car wash system.
